Baby Genius?

Each morning I go downstairs to eat breakfast. Once I am down there I will put Cole in his little bouncy chair so that I am hands free for a few minutes. He doesn't mind but I do think he gets bored looking at the same hanging elephant, hippo and banana bunch everyday. When he was younger I attached some of those little toy rings to the banana part so that he would have something to grab. When I put him in the chair the other day there were four rings attached to each other and then onto the banana ring. But when I went to pick him up out of the chair this is what I found...

He had somehow removed one of the rings and placed it around the hippo while dropping the other three rings in his chair. How did he do that? I asked him and his response was a big smile that seemed to say to me "I'm glad you noticed my work".

Three Months Old

At this point I should probably just rename my blog "Everything About Cole", however, I really don't know how to do that. Plus, any future children that we have may be offended. Although a few weeks late, I wanted to create a post about our little love-dove at three months old. Currently, his favorite things to do are; Suck on his hands (he loves the taste of baby), Eat, Sleep (he has become really good at it and recently started sleeping through the night, usually 9pm- 8am), Poop (he has a special fondness for the explosive variety), Slime people, Honk noses, Fart (they smell AWFUL), Smile, Talk, and just recently - Laughing (especially at his Aunt Brittany - he thinks she is hilarious) We love this little boy so much. He has brought so much joy into our family and it is so exciting to see him learn new things each day. Here are some pictures I took of him on his three month birthday.

Cole is a cutie

I love my little boy. He is such a joy to have in our lives. Jim's cousins wife Ashley, is a professional photographer was able to capture what a little cutie he is a few weeks ago (maybe months - not sure since I am losing track of time). Here are some of my favorites.

Our Little Love-Dove

After many years of trying to have a baby we were finally blessed with the opportunity to have our own little bundle of joy. Although it has been a huge adjustment we love being mommy and daddy to our little guy. Cole was born May 16th, 2011 at 5:12 am. He was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 20.5 inches long. I was great to have both Jim and my mom supporting me through the tough delivery.

Since we are brand new parents we were suckers and bought the overpriced photos that were taken at the hospital. Here are a few of them. I will soon be posting the photos that Jim's cousins wife, Ashley, recently took which are beautiful.
